Rebel Rebel you've torn your dress.

"Rebel rebel, youve torn your dress
Rebel rebel, your face is a mess
Rebel rebel, how could they know?
Hot tramp, I love you so!"

For something totally different than my original idea of 'landscapes' (something that bored the shizz out of me in foundation) for 1010......i have decided to illustrate the Bowie song 'Rebel Rebel'.... well the chorus anywhoooo.

and i thought instead of going for the tradtional 'paint on canvas' approach, I've thought of painting on plain black and white tshirts?? still using the traditional method of using/applying paint to a surface but maybe bring something "new" to tradition.

im all for change me.

more to come........ but for now im blogging off.

Glenn Brown @ the Tate!

' The Great Masturbator'

for some reason I keep referring to him as 'Glenn Miller' ...no idea why.
wasnt he a Jazz musician of some sort back in the day?

.....Anyways, yeah im going to be all 'artified' on wednesday and venture to the Tate to see this wonderful mans exhibition with a very good friend who studies the same arty fartyness at manchester met uni. maybe one day we will have a joint exhib!? who knows!?

also to carry on with the overwhelming sense of intelect we are allowing ourselves to endure, a certain manchester gallery will be preparing for our arrival on the same day! you could say we are conquering 2 major cities in one day!! now that is what its all about.

check it out people!!
